Sara + Rob are the absolute best. They are the kind of people who acknowledge everyone in the room and make sure everyone around them is happy and comfortable. They are incredibly close with their families and have tight friendships. They have been through the ringer over the last few years, but they are grounded in who they are, what and who they love, and in their relationship with each other. They got married on a cold, crisp January day in 2020, and celebrated first at St. Alphonsus Church, and moved to Galleria Marchetti for a fabulous evening of food, candlelight, and dancing. I shed a few tears during their ceremony, and even more during speeches, and it was an absolute pleasure to be part of their wedding. It is such a joy to share these images with you. Congratulations to The Sheehans!

Styled shoots are a way for creatives like us to collaborate, engage new vendors that we’re dying to work with, thaw out our creative muscles after a quiet winter, and (hopefully!) create some inspiration for couples planning their own wedding. I recruited a real couple, two of my Chicago buds, who braved sub zero weather for these incredible moments.

They are both so open and warm - most of our meetings happened in their beautiful home, where the wine would flow and their pups would join right in. Their wedding was on a perfect August Saturday in the garden at Salvage One, a lush, green space nestled right behind the well-known antique shop. There was a stillness to their ceremony that was so moving. It was our pleasure to be part of their wedding day, and it is such a joy to share these images with you. Congratulations, Chelsea + Drew!
