Patty + Mark are one of those couples that are just meant to be. There is a quiet, kind, and deep love between these two. But, it is clear that they also know how to have an incredibly good time! Their wedding day, just a year ago, was on a cozy December day in Chicago, full of rich colors, a dreamy first look, moving tears, and a surprise band appearance by Patty’s dad at their reception. The day was made extra special when much of Mark’s large Irish family, who he hadn’t seen in over a year, traveled to Chicago to be with Patty + Mark on their wedding day. It was a pleasure to work with them and a dream team of vendors, and I am just so happy to relive their wedding day through these images!

The girls spent the morning at the Hotel Zachary, while Mark had breakfast with his parents at their AirBnB. After the girls finished their beauty regime with Emily Rae Bridal Hair and Anjelica Bannos Artistry, they changed into their jewel tone gowns and waited to see the gorgeous Patty in her Alyssa Kristin wedding dress.

Meanwhile, Mark traveled over to the hotel so that the couple could have a quiet first look on the balcony of the hotel. It was an incredibly sweet and meaningful moment. They spent a while longer in the crisp weather around the hotel capturing some dreamy couple portraits.

Afterwards, Patty invited her parents up to the suite to exchange a few gifts and take some photos with her bridesmaids, while Mark met up with his groomsmen and dads at Galway Arms, a local Chicago watering hole, where Mark was the manager. A bit later, they all headed to the historic St. Michael Church in Old Town for a glorious service, to officially marry this stunning couple.

The ceremony was truly beautiful.

They stole a few moments alone after the ceremony for a few more “just married” photos on the street outside of the church.

The wedding guests traveled to River Roast, a lovely restaurant venue on the Chicago River, for dinner, dancing, and general revelry to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. Boyle!

Some highlights of the evening included stunning decor by Florist & Hound , Patty’s dad getting up on the mic with the Bluewater Kings Band, incredible speeches by family and friends, and a packed dance floor.
