Courtney + Wonho: Loving, Sweet, Chicago Wedding

Both Courtney and Wonho are extremely considerate. They met in the modern way, on a dating app. Their first date was for dinner and then drinks at Cindy’s Rooftop. Their date lasted 5 hours and they have been together ever since.

For the proposal, Wonho took Courtney to Cindy’s Rooftop and showed her a dating app that he had created. When Courtney scrolled through the app, it reviewed their story and then had the question “Will you marry me?”.  She of course said yes!

Courtney and Wonho’s day started at the Kimpton Gray. Courtney had her ladies with her getting ready and Wonho was with his best friends down the hall. They took advantage of the beautiful marble staircase at the hotel for their first look, their portraits, and wedding party photos.

Such a sweet first look!

After they finished photos they were off to The Arbory where their ceremony and reception were taking place. When they arrived they headed to the beautiful wedding party suite for their private vows.

Next, it was ceremony time. Both of their mothers started the processional and were dressed in traditional Korean attire. The ceremony was intimate and performed by Rev Steven Reid.

Once the ceremony was complete, guests transitioned to the west side of The Arbory for their cocktail hour. The live jazz trio from Okyne Media provided background music as guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres prepared by Paramount Events.

Fleur created stunning tablescapes for both the couple's sweetheart table and the guest's table.

After dinner, Courtney + Wonho performed a choreographed first dance, and DJ Jose from Luniks Entertainment kept the dance floor packed. Guests enjoyed delicious bubble tea by Gather’s Tea Bar and the couple’s favorite late-night, ramen.

Congrats to the Newlyweds!
