Casey + Robert: Chic, Emotional, Colorful Fulton Market Wedding

When I first met Casey and Robert, we just clicked right away.  There is something effortless about their connection to one another and I was drawn to it from our first meeting.  After getting to know them more, I learned so much about their relationship and the life they’ve built together - they’ve really “got a good thing going”.

Producing their wedding was such a joy.  It was a colorful, joyful occasion coupled with an incredibly moving ceremony.  They got married at the incredible Morgan’s on Fulton - a rooftop oasis in the heart of Fulton Market.  The MoF team is just the best, and with the help of a vendor DREAM TEAM, the day was absolutely perfect. From a moving first look, to an intimate ceremony; rousing speeches and a packed dance floor, Casey + Robert were celebrated right.  It’s been a year since their gorgeous MDW wedding - I just can’t believe it.

Happy anniversary, Casey + Robert! xo, Olivia

Casey + Robert opted for no “official” wedding party, but they had their closest people get ready with them at The Emily Hotel. They took their time soaking in the morning and getting dressed in their custom wedding day outfits.

Then they met for their first look right in front of the hotel. Their sweet faces say it all.

The incredibly talented photographer, Alisha Tova, took them a few blocks through the bustling Fulton Market for some chic, urban portraits.

Meanwhile, the MoF and Fleur teams were putting the finishing touches on the ceremony space.  Their lush, colorful chuppah was the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony.

Casey + Robert’s ceremony was one for the books. Their vows were deep and moving, and the entire room felt the love. It set the tone for a warm, joyful evening.

After the ceremony, guests moved upstairs for cocktail hour in the gorgeous May afternoon. The design and details of this wedding day were so special to create.  The colors, the vibe of the florals, the stationery (made by a former OFW bride!)..it was such a dream to see it come together. And, as the sun went down, the candles in MoF just glowed.

As with all full planning clients, I was honored to build their mood board and I am thrilled to share a snippets here to see how those pages become the foundation of their design. We socialized the images through their florist and Fleur delivered!

The rest of the night flowed easily as guests ate a delicious meal, courtesy of Morgan’s on Fulton, listened to some special speeches and then took a short break to pull some tables out and make a bigger dance floor.  Once it was time to dance, DJ Matt Roan blew everyone’s minds.  This couple loooooveeess going to concerts and festivals, and Matt’s style aligned perfectly and made for an incredibly fun dance party for Casey, Robert, and their people.

Congratulations on year 1 of marriage, Casey + Robert!
