Kathleen + Connor: Cheerful, Sweet, Sentimental, Chicago Wedding

Kathleen and Connor are high school sweethearts and have been together for over 15 years! So their big day was filled with nostalgia and lots and lots of love.

When they first met, Connor thought Kathleen was so cool for wearing a Motion City Soundtrack sweatshirt and the two quickly bonded over their love for the same type of music. As someone who is also a big Motion City Soundtrack fan, I knew they were going to be a fun couple! Needless to say their wedding day exceeded that expectation and it was so fun seeing them celebrated by all their loved ones.

Cheers to one year of marriage, K + C! - Kirsten

Since the couple has been together for so long, there were no nerves on the wedding day, just excitement.

The couple started out getting ready at the Apartment space at The Hoxton. Both Kathleen + Connor’s families along with both sides of the wedding party were able to all relax, eat lunch and enjoy everyone’s company before the celebrations. It was one giant group of friends who all knew and loved the couple.

They had the sweetest first look that Sarah Jane Bradly captured and then they were off to Union Station for wedding party photos.

Their ceremony and reception were held at The Arbory. Their dear friend married them and they shared the sweetest vows with each other. Flowers for Dreams created a beautiful hanging installation and tablescapes for Kathleen, Connor and their guests to dine under.

After a gorgeous dinner, heartfelt speeches and super sweet special dances DJ Norah from Toast and Jam played all the early 2000 jams and kept everyone on the dance floor throughout the night.

Cheers to many more amazing memories, Kathleen + Connor!
