Chelsea + Drew: Whimsical, Dreamy Chicago Wedding

Chelsea + Drew love each other and their families fiercely. They are loyal, kind, and crack some of the best jokes. They are both so open and warm - most of our meetings happened in their beautiful home, where the wine would flow and their pups would join right in. Their wedding was on a perfect August Saturday in the garden at Salvage One, a lush, green space nestled right behind the well-known antique shop. There was a stillness to their ceremony that was so moving. It was our pleasure to be part of their wedding day, and it is such a joy to share these images with you. Congratulations, Chelsea + Drew!

Christine + Jack: Joyful, Loving, Fun Ithaca Wedding

Christine + Jack have fun-loving spirits, joyful personalities, and fiercely caring hearts. Pair those qualities with a close-knit friend group and fabulous families, and you get one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure of working. These two got married on a rainy October Saturday in Ithaca, NY, and despite the weather, this couple was up for anything. Their gorgeous Sage Chapel wedding was followed by a champagne toast on the patio (scroll down to see a truly bad-ass bride!). Guests then loaded on buses and headed to Ithaca’s Coltivare Restaurant for a beautifully decorated space by Flowerwell and Pretty Little Vintage Co. that was modern and cozy. And when Encore Events opened that dance floor … it never closed. This crowd was in it to DANCE. It was a fabulous evening — Congratulations Christine + Jack!

Emily + Jorge: Passionate, Intimate, Candlelit Chicago Wedding

Where do I even begin with these two? Emily + Jorge are two college friends of mine, but have grown into some of my most favorite adult and couple friends. Jorge is hilarious and genuine, and Emily is determined and absolutely brilliant. They are college sweethearts with a flame for life and for each other. They planned a beautiful November wedding at Chicago’s Bridgeport Art Center, surrounded by their best people. The wedding was situated around Día de Muertos, a holiday important to Jorge’s Mexican heritage, and the couple wove his Latin culture in with her Jewish roots, culminating in a colorful, joyful, and seriously fun wedding. They even had a (all-female!) mariachi band play the Hora… it was spectacular. A huge, huge congratulations to The Silvas.
